The Invisible Book That’s Already in Your Business
Hello,
You’re Already Halfway Done. You Just Can’t See It Yet
Most experts I work with already have a book hiding in plain sight.
It’s in the keynote slides. It’s in the onboarding emails. It’s in the Notion doc no one’s opened since 2022.
The hard part isn’t writing from scratch. It’s recognising what’s already written and refining it.
STRATEGY: Mine Before You Map
Before outlining a new book, gather your existing material:
- Articles
- Decks
- Talks
- Workshop recordings
- Sales conversations
Look for repeated language, strong patterns, or frameworks you constantly explain. Those are your chapters in disguise.
ASSET TO BUILD: The Content Inventory Table
Create a 3-column table:

You don’t need to write. You need to re-read what you already said.
🐴 DISASTER FARM UPDATE
Barry (the white stallion) has decided that if I don’t arrive at the feed bucket on time, he will relocate it for me. To the middle of the paddock. Upside down.
Sometimes your book is like that. Already built, but in the wrong place and upside down. Still valuable. Just needs organising.
🏆 CLIENT HIGHLIGHT
One of our recent authors wrote 40% of her final manuscript by transcribing her most-used Zoom rants, LinkedIn posts, and one spicy panel answer.
The book wasn’t born on a blank page. It was harvested.

TL;DR
- You don’t need to write from scratch
